Privacy Policy
Capstone Social Scheduler (“the app”) is a private, internal tool operated by Capstone Consulting (“we”) to schedule and publish our own content to our own accounts on TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn. It is not offered to the public and has no users other than Capstone Consulting.
What the app accesses
Only through each platform’s official API, and only after the account owner authorizes it:
- basic account identifiers needed to post (account ID, username or display name);
- permission to publish content we have prepared to that account, and to add a comment to our own posts.
The app does not read followers’ data, direct messages, contacts or analytics, and does not collect information from anyone who views our posts.
How it is stored
Access tokens are stored encrypted on a single company computer in Singapore and are used only to publish our scheduled content. A local record of what was posted, and when, is kept for our own audit. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
People featured in our content
Some of our posts feature course participants. We publish such content only with their consent, and remove a post on request.
Your choices
The account owner can revoke the app’s access at any time from the platform’s own settings (TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions; Instagram/Facebook: Business Integrations; LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services). Revoking access stops all publishing; we then delete the stored token.
